With a former background as a paralegal in Chicago and one year of law school in California, I was steadily exposed to the fraternity of attorneys of which many are ego-oriented. Michael Jensen was referred to me (and referrals often are not necessarily sacrosanct) by a legal colleague who came highly recommended to me by a prominent business owner in Salt Lake City who is a close personal friend. Because of the sudden and unexpected death of a lifelong friend and me being out of state, Mike stepped up to the probate plate immediately, lined up all the legal ducks and pursued the matter with astonishing efficiency and vigor. I was stunned at his level of high performance. And……he actually returned phone calls! In addition to his hyper-efficient approach, unknowingly, he helped to decrease the sudden and searing stress I was under due to my friend’s estate. My dentist son suffered a severe brain injury in 1997 while married and living in Seattle. Following medical malpractice and product liability settlements, my life became a literal hell for nine years -- dealing with Seattle judges, guardians ad litem, estate guardians, bank trustees and their attorneys, the now ex-wife's attorneys in Washington and Utah, etc., etc. It was a legal farce of stupendous financial and psychological proportions that several attorneys I hired in Washington and Utah were unable to unravel. I heard about attorney Michael Jensen from a respected medical case manager, Dr. Lois Brandreit, and I met with him. He accepted the case in spite of the multitude of legal complexities, expeditiously worked through each problem, and was able to do what numerous attorneys over several years found impossible to do: arrange for transfer of trust assets from Seattle to a much friendlier and more economical Utah bank -- and he arranged for the dismissal of several unnecessary legal parasites feeding off the trust.
